Open Days Hinowa 2022

35 years have passed since the Hinowa industrial revolution. Hinowa is reality that has become a point of reference in Italy and in Europe in the manufacturing of machinery for working at heights, construction and agriculture, and it wanted to celebrate its history with an extraordinary event, held from 10 to 12 June in the headquarters of Nogara (VR) in the presence of a large audience of customers and historical partners, collaborators and employees, together with their families. All together, united in the name of an adventure made up of work and brilliant ideas, which intends to continue in the name of the Fracca family, with its founder and forefather Dante, who was the centre of a moment of celebration and memories that meant “important things” , to be observed and highlighted.
 

The story of Hinowa is certainly unbelievable. In 1987, the year Dante Fracca’s company was founded, production initially followed the family construction tradition for tracked wagons, which within two years was already diversified into specific types for construction, such as mini excavators and mini dumpers. Since the nineties, in the headquarters in via Fontana - which will become the beating heart of company projects and production - the first crawler aerial platforms have been developed, in addition to construction and fruit farming machines (already very successful, also in exports) and soon the long series by Hinowa of elevating models for work at height was established. The 2000s were the years when the company was definitely established in the world scenario: from the successful range of crawler spiders with Goldlift articulated arm, the high-performance series Lightlift was developed, that changed the “aerial work” market, followed by its pivotal invention, the Lithium-Ion battery platform, with ecological zero-emission propulsion based on the new lithium-ion technology. The enormous success of the new range definitively affirmed Hinowa among the great European lifting companies, leading the company to sign important agreements with global manufacturers such as the American company JLG (Oshkosh group) and the Japanese company Kubota.
 

After retracing these stages of a unique and extraordinary history, during the Open Days for the 35th anniversary of Hinowa, the latest news of the company were revealed to the hundreds of experts who attended, including Italian and foreign companies and hirers. Starting with the new Lightlift 18.80 Performance IIIS crawler aerial platform (from 18.55 m operating height), then continuing with the updated models Lightlift 20.10 MK3 (also in the bi-energy version) and Lightlift 26.14 MK2, height champion of 25,7 m (with an exceptional outreach of 13.75 m and enhanced by the new reduced stabilisation area, a quality that opens the field to a wide and unprecedented series of applications), to conclude with the innovation of the TC22S telescopic platform, a model with full efficiency and safety, with an operating diagram without restrictions. The great anticipation - again announced at the Open Days - was all in expectation of the great innovation announced for the next Bauma 2022: the Lightlift 40.18 platform, with a working height of 40.2 metres! On the other hand, construction, logistics and agricultural specialists were able to appreciate the “new entries”, represented by the TPX1800 tracked forklift (1,800 kg capacity and 1,798 mm unloading height) and the HS1203 minidumper, proposed for the first time in Lithium version, with a 19.2 kWh battery pack.
 

In the three days of the Open Days 2022, held for Hinowa's 35th birthday, one day is to be considered particularly important for the very essence of the company from Nogara: 12 June, which the organisers have called “Family Day”, dedicated to Hinowa employees and their families. Over 400 people, including many couples with children and many young people, celebrated the birthday of “their company” in the most heartfelt way. Because Hinowa, with its over 230 employees in the various administrative, business and production departments, must be considered to all intents and purposes as a united and cohesive family. “The success and feedback we have achieved over the years is thanks to our workers”, underlined an emotional Dante Fracca, former president and founder of Hinowa. “This beautiful adventure is like a long journey that we have all undertaken together, facing many difficulties and fighting many battles. We remained united always, both in successful and bitter moments, aware that creating value is a serious matter, a path to be shared with commitment and common strength”.

While the smiles and the words of the people crowded into the huge rooms of the Hinowa factory and headquarters in via Fontana (over 100,000 square meters that cover outdoor areas and factory buildings, still expanding today thanks to the needed creation of new departments and operational divisions), Davide and Enrico Fracca - Dante’s sons just officially appointed, respectively, the new President and Vice President of the company - shared memories, emotions and projects with “their people”. A greeting for everyone, a joke, a secret. The “feeling” of Hinowa, on a day of celebration. A spirit that remains even in the everyday life, made of long hours of effort and dedication to the factory. “They may be unusual words, even rhetorical for some, but we, the Hinowa family, really feel them”, confided Davide Fracca, who did not hide his pride for this authentic reality, to be proud of. “Between us and our employees, there is a common thread that unites efforts and goals. We want to achieve new important goals together. We are proud of our identity as workers and we share a deep joy when we do a good job and cross the line of a new success”.
 
To further strengthen the atmosphere of familiarity and entertainment, a musical show was held on the stage in the forecourt of the facility. Here, the families were able to meet at the party tables, sharing the tranquillity and excitement of meeting each other, eating, exchanging hugs, pats on the back, jokes, good feelings. A family is also this, and much more. Hinowa has always invested in safety, comfort, sustainability of working conditions, towards an awareness and growing responsibility for those who have made a constant and conscious commitment out of their thoughts and efforts. Ergonomic workstations, environments based on compliance with environmental standards and the most favourable operating conditions, machine tools and advanced systems for more productive, safe and qualified work. “I have been a photography enthusiast and expert since I was a child,” revealed Enrico Fracca, Hinowa’s new vice president. “Even on this occasion, people’s faces conveyed me strong emotions. I took photographs freely, on this Family Day for our thirty-five years, trying to capture the emotions on the faces of friends and new acquaintances who make up the great Hinowa family. They gave me a strong, unforgettable feeling. Because these people are us, our history, our identity and our strength”.

The meaning of the word Hinowa in Japanese is “circle of fire”. If, on the “Family Day” celebrating 35 years of the company, the imagination of Hinowa workers and their families could have drawn a symbol, in the clear air of 12 June 2022, it would have been just that. A powerful circle, with the flame of each person to feed the energy of a future to be built together.
