Hinowa presents the all-new electric telescopic aerial platform
Hinowa continues to innovate and provide increasingly technological and efficient solutions to its customers. TeleCrawler13 stems from the very latest investments aimed at achieving greater versatility in the use of vehicles and increasingly environmentally-friendly solutions which succeed in combining performance with safety and environmental sustainability. Hinowa’s mission is to fulfil the requirements of its customers who come from a wide variety of sectors which is why the company develops and proposes ultra-versatile aerial platforms. Like the brand new TC13N electric telescopic platform.
The new TeleCrawler13 platform
TeleCrawler13 is the name chosen for this new
telescopic crawler aerial platform with a lithium battery, which can reach a working height of 13 m and features a horizontal outreach of 6.4 m. The signature feature of this model is its compact size: it is really small and has a stabilisation area of just 2,450 mm x 2,900 mm which means the platform can be stabilised inside the parking space of single car! The first version available is the TC13N with a load capacity of 136 kg.
The TeleCrawler13 electric aerial platform is the first model of
a new series. Hinowa introduces
the first telescopic aerial platform with “full electric” crawler tracks. A solution which not only significantly improves the efficiency of operations and daily work, but also means it is environmentally friendly, making the TC13 an ultra-modern machine with an eye to the future.
The innovative features of the TC13N
The electric telescopic platform stems from the most recent investments by Hinowa in Research & Development. It is, therefore, a high-performance machine with a superior level of technology, designed to improve productivity, simplify work and increase safety under any conditions, even on challenging terrain or in narrow spaces.
The control of the telescopic boom extension allows the same distance from the wall to be automatically maintained to follow a vertical line up to 9 m, both when going up and down. As a result, the operator can get on with his work without having to continuously adjust the extension of the telescopic boom manually. This function allows jobs to be performed quickly and easily, as well as increasing the level of safety at height.
The “Go Home” function allows you to automatically and safely close and align the telescopic boom and thus, return the machine to the transport position with just one button; a brand new innovative feature, introduced by Hinowa on a 13-m platform for the first time. Before initiating the “Go Home” function, the machine stores the last working position so that it can automatically return to it with the simple press of a button. This is the “Go Back” function which saves valuable time and significantly increases productivity.
Another important new feature of the new TeleCrawler13 platform involves the undercarriage, constructed by using electric traction motors which allow it to travel on electric power only, without the use of hydraulic oil. TC13 is the first tracked aerial platform on the market with a permanent magnet drive motor, thus guaranteeing a higher performance compared to traditional electric motors. The “full electric” system is more efficient compared to hydraulic systems which allows the use of a more compact lithium-ion battery pack, with a lower energy value, that delivers the same performance as a hydraulic traction platform. But with a greener and more environmentally friendly platform.
TC13 can also work on challenging terrain in the presence of mud or dust. The absence of oil in the travel system eliminates the risk of leakages on the ground; another feature which means the machine respects the environment and modern-day requirements. The development of a tracked platform which can travel without the risk of hydraulic oil leakages is the first step in fulfilling the growing demand for fully electric, self-propelled aerial platforms.
Hinowa TC13 is a breakthrough product, a technological revolution in the sector which improves work and helps the environment.
